The Historic McKittrick Farmers Market Mercantile has Sold and is Under New Ownership

​

McKittrick, MO: On June 8, 2023, the McKttrick Farmers Market was sold to Traveler Properties LLC.  The 1897 building has served as a community hub for McKittrick, MO since the days of the Missouri Kansas Texas (MKT) railroad.

When asked why The Mercantile, Olga & Monica said:

"We fell in love with the Katy Trail and the old Farmers Mercantile building, and hope travelers passing through McKittrick find that little slice of paradise by the trail. We are humbled by the process, and honestly, we get to enjoy more time by the Katy Trail.”

​

As for the future, the historic landmark will continue serving its community and travelers passing by Mile Marker 100.8 in McKittrick, MO, and visitors coming to Hermann, MO.
