Made-from-Scratch Pizza, Hand-Tossed All Day

Set in the heart of Hermann’s Historic District, 4th Street Pizza is known for its nostalgic vibe, friendly service, and most of all—incredible hand-tossed, made-from-scratch pizza. You can even watch the action as pizza dough flies through the air from the open kitchen.

Our Must-Order Combo Every Visit

If you’re staying at The Mercantile on the Katy Trail and want a no-fail order, here’s our personal pick—every single time:

Appetizers (Yes, get all three):

  • Goat Cheese & Honey – A local favorite. Creamy, tangy goat cheese paired with sweet honey and fresh house bread made daily. It’s the kind of appetizer people dream about later.

  • Pesto Cheese Bread – Warm, cheesy, and loaded with basil-rich pesto. Comes with marinara sauce for dipping.

  • Garlic Cheese Bread – Buttery, garlicky, crispy-edged, and always hits the spot. Also served with their signature marinara.

Why all three? You can save some for later and have it in your suite in the evening while you unwind and settle in for the night.

Italian Deli Salad

  • A hearty, flavor-packed salad featuring green leaf lettuce, cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, bell peppers, red onions, banana peppers, olives, imported Italian cheeses, and house-made Italian vinaigrette.

  • Topped with sliced salami, ham, and capicola—it’s everything you love from an old-school Italian deli in one beautiful bowl.

Fettuccine Pesto Alfredo

  • This pasta is rich, creamy, and full of flavor, thanks to the creamy pesto sauce made with basil, cream, Parmesan, and Romano cheese. Pro tip: never skip the pesto—it’s what takes this dish from great to unforgettable.

Your Favorite Pizza

  • Go classic or get adventurous. Every pizza is hand-tossed and made from scratch. You can taste the love in every bite.
